Within the next Business Catalyst releases (R213 and R214) we're going to make some updates to the Products REST APIs which will require partners to update their existing applications or sites. The update fixed a consistency problem and a system limitation problem. Please find below a description of the change and the required updates:
- In the R213 (next release, mid-March), the GET products API will include a new field named "keywords". The field will output the same information as the current "tags" field corresponding to the "keywords" input field in the Admin user interface; please update your sites or applications to replace tags with keywords;
- Also on the next release (R213), we'll add PUT and POST REST APIs for products.
- In R214 release (two releases from now, early April), we're going to change the "tags" field from the GET APIs to return the actual products tags object; additionally, we'll add the "tags"a field to the products PUT and POST APIs
